CURIOSITY OVER STIGMA. FACTS OVER FEAR.

HOW WE EARN YOUR TRUST

Clear explanations. Honest limits.

THC & Me is an educational publication. These standards describe the approach we are building toward and the distinctions readers should expect us to make.

About the existing archive: Updating a page’s design does not mean every older claim has been re-researched or medically reviewed. We are developing the archive against these standards. Publication and modification dates should not be mistaken for clinical review dates.

Evidence is not the same as experience.

Personal stories are presented as personal stories. They may explain why someone became interested in a topic; they do not establish that cannabis caused a health improvement or that someone else will have the same experience.

For scientific questions, we distinguish human clinical trials, observational findings, animal or laboratory work, and speculation. Association is not automatically causation. Limited evidence is described as limited, not transformed into a confident recommendation.

Sources, dates, and review status matter.

New reference-based guides should link to original research, official health guidance, or primary legal material where appropriate. We aim to identify when sources were checked and note material corrections. A source being prestigious does not remove the need to examine what it actually supports.

We do not describe an article as medically reviewed unless an appropriately qualified person has actually reviewed it and is identified. Legal summaries need a jurisdiction and a current source; they are not personal legal advice.

AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, editing, and website production. AI assistance is not a substitute for checking the underlying sources or for professional medical review.

Respect the reader. Separate the sale.

We welcome skepticism, questions rooted in faith or family responsibility, and the decision not to use cannabis. Our purpose is understanding, not pressure to consume.

THC & Me promotes its own book and may develop other educational products. That commercial interest should remain visible. Paid placements, sponsorships, and affiliate relationships should be disclosed where they appear; they should not determine scientific conclusions.

We do not promise cures, guaranteed outcomes, universal safety, or that a product will avoid a workplace drug test.

Corrections improve the publication.

Found an error or an outdated statement? Send a correction with the article URL, the statement in question, and the source you believe should be considered. Material factual changes should be identified rather than silently presented as if nothing changed.
